Common Questions

Here are the questions festival coordinators ask most when booking circus and stage entertainment. If yours is not listed, send us a note and we will follow up the same business day.

What stage requirements do you need for a festival show?

We perform on a stage as small as 8x8 feet, though 10x10 gives us room for the bigger juggling routines. We need basic sound (a single microphone or a small PA), a flat performance surface and overhead clearance for tossed clubs and rings. We bring all our own props, costumes and Nuggets the rubber chicken.

What show lengths do you offer for festivals and events?
arrow_forward_ios

Our standard formats are 15-minute, 30-minute and 45-minute sets, with a full one-hour show available for headlining slots. Shorter sets work well for stage rotations and parade openers. Longer sets give us room for audience volunteers and the full circus finale.

Do you travel to festivals outside the Edmonton area?

Yes. We tour festivals across Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan and book select dates further east. Travel and accommodation costs are quoted upfront so you know the total before you commit. Reach out with your dates and location and we will check availability.

How far in advance should we book a festival performer?
arrow_forward_ios

Summer festivals typically book three to six months ahead, with peak weekends in July and August closing earlier. Spring and fall events often confirm one to three months out. If your dates are flexible we can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines, so it never hurts to ask.

Bring Live Circus Energy to Your Next Festival

Festival audiences remember the acts that pull them in and refuse to let them leave. Jojo's Magic Circus is built for that moment, with stage shows that turn passers-by into a packed audience and send families home talking about your festival. Tell us about your event and we will put together a quote that fits your programming, stage and budget.
